After a day in the wild, your cabin is a warm place to land. Each one keeps things simple and welcoming — comfortable beds, a heater, a flush toilet, and a hot shower on demand. Everything you need to rest up and head back out the next day.

Every board, every bed, every comfort here arrived by floatplane, so what you'll find isn't polished or oversized, it's exactly what you need and nothing you don't. The cabins sit in an open stretch of tundra with the river on one side and volcanoes on the horizon: close enough to the main lodge for an easy walk to dinner, far enough to feel like you've got the wilderness to yourself.

the lodge

The main lodge is where everyone gathers. We keep it heated and equipped with high-speed WiFi, snacks, refreshments, fishing literature, and a fly-tying bench. It boasts breathtaking views of four volcanoes and the wild country that surrounds them — home to bears, moose, wolves, caribou, eagles, and countless other critters. It's the heart of Lava Creek, where meals are served and the day gets retold.
